Yesterday

Yesterday Paul and I went into Greenock to get presents for people. We went to the Oak Mall which I didn't like cos people bang into you constantly and there is a guy walking around in a Santa suit, he waved at me, I didn't like it, in Woolworths there was a childs puzzle and you re-arrange the pieces, it was very annoying because I really wanted to correct it but Paul wouldn't let me cos we were standing in the line, it was very frustrating. On the upside I was wearing a cool hat, unfortunately no pictures of the hat though. Also we found this new place called SUBWAY. I had only previously heard about it on Glenn Humplik's blog and on South Park with that Jared guy. We went in and I had to make a lot of decisions first we choose 2 Meatball Marinaras then the guy kept asking a lot of questions, don't remember what all the questions were but there was a lot. Anyway thumbs sideways on Oak Mall, thumbs up on SUBWAY and thumbs up on my hat.

Paul took a picture of Leonnie's house on the bus ride home, again don't like busses, they smell weird, there was a drunk guy that fell onto another passenger, AND MOST OF ALL Granny Mitchell was on the bus and totally ignored me and Paul!!!!!!! I know she has done this to Leonnie too! Why must you be so rude Granny Mitchell?!

The Great Blackout of 2005!

Thursday 15th December 2005. There was a blackout all along the avenue and other avenues too ofcourse. I have 5 human interest stories about the blackout. So sit back, relax and imagine each happening to you. And remember it happened at 11pmish so it is pitch black!! Even street lights are out!!! Luckily, Fredrick gave us a candle.

1. Laura, that's me. I was in a shower I had just put the shampoo in my hair and the shower went OFF! I waited for a few seconds for someone to press the button cos usually when I'm in a shower the power goes out so you just go and press the orangey button but I heard Paul and Dad downstairs going on about it's the whole avenues etc out, so I have to get out the shower with shampoo all in my hair, needless to say I was not very happy.

2. Paul. He goes to charge the camera battery for the next day, he plugs it in and sees the little light beside it sort of fade out then all the lights go out. Paul thinks he has caused the blackout.

3. Dad. He had his computer de-fragmenting!

4. Fredrick. He told us he was upstairs and his mum (Wilmaw) shouted on him for something and he put his hands over his face as if to say I've just sat down or whatever and he takes his hands away from his face and all lights are out.

5. Leonnie. Leonnie had no clue there was a blackout.

Writing by candle light

Did you always wonder what they used to write by candlelight? Well since I experienced it I can tell you! They write out Deal or No Deal game so that they can explain how it works to Leonnie tomorrow.

DON'T TAKE PICTURES OF ME WHEN I'M SLEEPY!!!

Nanny can yap forever on the phone

Poor Leonnie.

Not blogged in a while

Leonnie on the left, Laura on the right, Paul taking the picture.

Here's a picture from 2 weeks ago when Leonnie was over. She was talking to Nanny on the phone. Nanny phoned and talked to Paul for ages then Paul panned the phone off on me so I had to talk to Nanny for ages then I panned the phone off on Leonnie and she had to talk to Nanny for ages then I'm sure she panned the phone off to the Neverbugs.

Another Poem

I hope they don't misconstrue
Misconstrue Bud and Crew
For that would bring alarm
To the voters of the farm

The farm, that's right, with pea, turnip etc
With bean and sprouts and farmers etc
For soon will be the Presidential election
That for us means package collection

Poem

Ok here's the deal. Paul is doing poems on his blog so I'm going to do one on mine. That's right.

I had no idea
That it was raining
That day
That day in the park
No point explaining
About that day
That day in the park
Remeber?
Remember Castaway?
WILSON!

Thank You and Goodnight

Taggart

Ok everyone listen up. Here's what happened one week ago today...

I get up at 5am and leave with Nanny in a taxi (driven by my dad's friend Todda, which has nothing to do with anything) at 6am. We get to the train station at 6.15ish. Nanny thinks the hat I'm holding is a bag. Nanny sees someone she knows and starts yapping with him. Train comes late. Nanny is still yapping to guy on train. I think I'll go down a line now.

We get off train and are at Glasgow Central Station, we get sandwiches which I dont eat til I get back home much later on. We get ANOTHER taxi to a place called High Street Car Park where there are many crew (not "The Crew") busses and vans. It's about 7.20ish now. Nanny gets something to eat from the table of food and I had to explain that the food was free but she kept trying to pay the guy for it. We wait around on the bus with a load of other extras, the bus is good it has 2 heaters and a tv and many tables. I talk to people on bus and we wait around for AGES!

Person comes and tells us we're getting drove to the place we're filming which is a little bar called "Fuse" in Glasgow which by the way I had a lot of trouble holding in my laughter about cos of Fuzzy Fuse! Fuzzy Fuse! Paul and Leonnie will know what that means. We get in a little van then arrive.

Nanny has to sit in a corner and I felt sorry for her because every time I looked over at her she looked EXTREMELY bored. First thing is I sit at a table with this guy I think his name was Bruce, we had fake beer to hold, we just mime in the background. Second thing to do was me and this Bruce guy to walk in the background of the Taggart guys (I don't know their names I don't watch Taggart). Third and last thing was I stand in the middle of shot mime talking to this guy(don't remember his name) and then a fight breaks out behind me and he pulls me out the way so I don't get hurt. The guy fighting in the background falls into me a few times and one time I got hit with a pint glass! Anyway I think that's everything, but it lasted a LONG time, we didn't rap until 8pm!! That's 7am til 8pm!!!! A thirteen hour work day!!!

The director does too many takes. He did more than 30 takes per little tiny line. He does too many takes. WE do one or two takes and that's it. Unless Leonnie and I keep laughing then it's still only about 8 takes. Then we get to watch bloopers.

Anyway, I think that's all. If I remember anything else important I'll come back and post. Oh just remembered something! At last we finished filming Most Scary! Yay! Paul will edit it all then I'll watch it and Leonnie can watch it next Friday because this Friday I think she is going to a pantomime. Wait. Pantomime or Pantomine? I don't know. Now I thinks that's all now.

Help Me Figure This Out

Ok, now listen carefully. I need to figure out what the hell this disease is called, if it is a disease. I was told I was born with cold blood and that they had to put me in some sort of heating device. I have been looking everywhere to find out and I can find no mention of this anywhere. I just want to know what it is called. Help me out here, c'mon, you know you want to, geez a clue.

What To Write?

I'll give another update since I really haven't anything to say. Hmm, I'll give it in points so it's easier to read...
  • I have bought all Xmas Presents! Woo!! Yay!! Xmas is cool!
  • Oh! I asked my Dad about the whole Jesus Egg thing and he knew! You see, Me Paul and Leonnie (ie the 3 Amigos and you can't stop me from writing that Paul!) we were really very confused about how Jesus died the second time. Because remember he was born in the stable then he got crucified then he came back from space in the Jesus Egg then we didn't know how he died after that. Did he die? Or is he still alive today? Or did he go back to space in his Jesus Egg? Turn out no. My dad says he didn't really come back. That it was just the spirit of Jesus.
  • Paul asked me if I wanted some cheese I said yes he didn't hear me so I repeated it. (Paul wanted me to write that)
  • I read another chapter of my Sam Spade book last night.
  • Paul just turned it to CNN, Wolf Blitzer is on.
  • Mythbusters is on tonight at 8pm on Discovery.
  • I have nothing else to write so.......to pictures!

Look at that

Look there's the arcade machine away in the background. I might play it later if there's any money lying around...

Light Switch

The light switch looks pretty conspicuous there.

Georgmanji

We are getting pulled into Georgmanji! Someone must've finished the game!

Laughing

This is me laughing at Leonnie screaming "JEEVES!!!" in a very peculiar way.

At door

I don't remember if I have put this picture up before.

Update

I want a hut.

Paul is still dizzy and still waiting on his blood test results.

I am hoping that my Dad will be at work (I think he will be) on Friday so we can at last finish this Most Scary episode!

I've been watching that new Noel Edmonds gameshow. It's good. Noel Edmonds makes me feel Christmasy.

That's all.

Paul's Blood

Paul went to get his blood out today. Nanny went with him. Now this is a blow by blow of how I think it went down (I wasn't there) from both the accounts of Nanny and Paul.

They started out about half 8 (Paul and Nanny)

They went into the doctors and took a ticket and sat in the waiting room.

I assume they went in and the nurse or whomever said to take a seat and she got the needle and was taking his blood from his right inner elbow.

She says "that's about two tablespoons (of blood) now." Paul is looking the other way and is alright with it then he gets all dizzy.

He says "I'm dizzy"

The nurse has his blood in a test tube now and she is over in a corner talking to Nanny while Paul sits on the chair dizzily.

He falls but Nanny gets to him just in time and grabs him by the side and the nurse grabs his other side at this point the nurse also drops the blood in a tube (it doesn't break).

Paul doesn't remember anything from this point on.

Paul has a seizure.

Nanny and the nurse take Paul to a bed.

Paul wakes up while they are taking him to the bed.

"I was sleeping" Paul says.

"You were sleeping were you?" the nurse says.

"I don't know what's going on" Paul says.

"You don't know what's going on do you?" the nurse says.

They bring in doctor Gowling (think that is how you spell it).

He laughs. He says this has only happened 3 times in 20 years or else the nurse says that.

Doc tells Paul that he should go home in a taxi and lie down with his legs level to his body and not to do anything for the rest of the day, he will be dizzy the rest of the day (he is) then he will get a sore heed and I think there was something about eating chocolate in there or else Nanny said that.

I think that's it. And I have been making Paul soup and getting him juice cos I'm cool.

I'm waiting patiently for him to have another seizure because I want to see what it looks like.

Paul wants me to write his experience on my blog

So here it is (in Paul's words)

"Went to the doctors. Back problems. Doctor says "ey, wuts that mark on your arm?" "I do not know" Doctor does not know either, he has never seen anything like it. He informs me I will have to go back tomorrow morning for BLoOD TESTS. Yikes."

There we have it. Blood tests, I think I might faint (That's me, Laura, talking by the way).

A picture show from his town experience....

Doctor's waiting room

Paul tells me there was something funny written on a poster over there he wont tell me what but he says tomorrow he will take a picture of it.

The Town At Night(Sort Of)

This is the town at 5pm, this is Paul walking to the bus stop.

Hey

Remember that time I went in the town and I posted pictures up that I took from my phone? Well Paul has just went in the town to the doctors and I gave him my phone to take pictures. He will be blogging his town experience either on this blog but much more likely on his own blog which is http://paul-j.blogspot.com/

So go see his town experience!

Next on my list of people to have a town experience is Leonnie. So Leonnie I'm sure you have a camera on your phone, next time you go in town take pictures and blog your town experience on you blog.

Now go see Paul's town experience http://paul-j.blogspot.com/ when he gets back he'll post I'm sure of it.

In the meantime I have a Jesus Egg question for my Dad....

Happy Guy Fawkes Night!

Hello! Wuts Happening?

I'm going to watch Derek Acorah's Quest for Guy Fawkes at 9pm but it lasts until 11pm so I'll have to tape the last hour of it because I'll be watching Law and Order SVU on five at 10pm.

Wow look at that. five That's the right font for it. Hey look at it. five Oh and I have something to say on the subject of five, which used to be channel five but now the more cool five. Anyway people used to mock channel five because there was never anything good on it but look at it now! It's got all the best programmes, which reminds me, Law and Order Criminal Intent is on at 12.55am on five which means I wont be going to bed until 1.45am at least. Hold on I'm getting off topic. My point is five is cool now. I would go as far as saying it is the best terrestrial channel infact the only one worth watching, nothing good comes on the other terrestrial channels. So there we have it, five gets two thumbs up. I forgot what I was going to say now. Oh well. Here's a picture.

Bad News

Here's the deal. Usually Leonnie would come over on a Friday. And last night Paul and I set everything up for Most Scary and wot not. Turns out Dad is staying in the whole day today. So Leonnie couldn't come over and Paul and I are bored. Worst of all I think Dad is bringing someone round tonight so that means loud music and super drunk people into the night and Paul and I wont be able to sleep :(

I'll post later on too probably cos I'll have nothing to do.

Wednesday 2nd November

Hey all. Wut it be?

Few things of note today.

Number 1: On Monday Paul and I thought we would time Most Haunted Live to see how much time they actually spend on location compared to in studio and on adverts. Now listen to this...out of a 3 hour programme they spent 1 hour 16 minutes 49 seconds on location. I think this deserves me to say "Outrageous!", please all join me in an "Outrageous!".

Number 2: Again Most Haunted, but this time Tuesdays episode. Two words: Gordon Smith. I don't like him. He reminds me too much of John Edwards. I also hate his accent, and yes I am allowed to say that cos I'm Scottish. In the words of John from Blackpool, "GET 'IM OUT!".

More complaining tomorrow. I'll leave you with a picture.

Almost Forgot to Say

Leave a Comment about my posts. I'd like to hear your opinions on Most Haunted, Stuart etc. Bye bye.

Halloween, Friday, Most Haunted and a Good Picture of Me.

First of all Happy Halloween for today! Yay! Halloween is great! 3rd Best Day of The Year!!
The best is obviously Xmas, second is Birthday, third Halloween and incase your interested 4th is Xmas Eve.

Now, to Friday, I would say that Friday was one of the best days ever! Because when Gillian came with chips, we usually get 2 pickles in one bag of chips, then Leonnie and I will have a pickle each but here's how it went down. Leonnie opens her bag, 2 pickles, Paul opens his, 2 pickles, I open mine, 2 pickles. THATS 6 PICKLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW I LOVE IT.

Then we filmed segments. Ofcourse, this means since it's Halloween time, "MOST SCARY"!

We love doing Most Scary, it's great.

Most Haunted Live. The last 3 nights have been great, sorry to use that word again but it is needed. Can't wait til it comes on tonight. I will speak about Most Haunted in 3 points.
1: Julian "Egg" Clegg
2: Richard Felix
3: Stuart Torevell

  • Clegg. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. With his stupid heed and his stupid ears! He takes up too much time! With his stupid text msgs and stupid photos of viewers watching the show! He is so annoying! FIRE HIM NOW!!!!! I hear he has a show before it and after it anyway. That's 2 hours! Why give him time in the real show?! Everytime something good is happening at the actual location it cuts back to Clegg. And he takes up too much time!!!! I have to be John from Blackpool here, "GET 'IM OUT!!!"

  • Richard Felix is underrated! He is hilarious! I was watching the webcams last night because it kept cutting back to idiot Clegg so I would mute when Clegg came on and come up to the computer and watch webcams then once Clegg is gone I unmute and watch the show again. So anyway I was watching the webcams and Richard Felix kept walking in front of it and I can't explain it but he was just generally being hilarious! I remember once he did a lone vigil (don't know if that is how you spell it) and he was outside somewhere and he was talking about how scared he was then he fell over! Best of all he tried to trick us by saying "Oh no! It's got me!" HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA. The much underrated Felix.

  • Stuart Torevell. He is hilarious! We have all been talking about it here and we don't think he realizes how hilarious he is. I mean really, really hilarious. Paul and I were watching on Tuesday and it was a repeat, Stuart was on a lone vigil (don't know if that is how you spell it) and he had the camera and was pointing it at a door saying "What is this door? Where could it lead? Oh, it's the Gents." And on the live Halloween one that is happening, I think it was 2 nights ago. Jon Dibley said something about smelling a horrible smell like someone hasn't washed then said that he is standing next to Stuart, Stuart says "Might be me, I don't like to wash". Oh and last night he was feeling sick. I am sitting here trying to remember what else happened but I can't remember. Oh! Not from last night but I have to mention it. Ancient Ram Inn. Enough Said. Except ofcourse to say that it was very scary until I noticed his shoe fell off and we couldn't stop laughing.

Now. Pictures from Friday when Leonnie came over. I'll start off with this one of me. I like this picture.

First off....

Big up to Richard Felix!

Most Scary, To Night Vision!

Switching to Night Vision. Pic is of me.

Most Scary, It's kickin off!

Note: Leonnie and Joe just came over. Leonnie is wearing her cape and Joe was wearing a mask and what appeared to be bin bags. Apparently they are driving around and slowing down when they get to children to scare them. Keep up the good work!

Most Scary, Stuff Keeps Happenin

What was that!

Most Scary, Saw Something!

I saw a shadow up there! I'm telling you!

Most Scary, A Noise!

I think Leonnie must've just heard a noise!

An Explanation of Most Scary

Let me just explain what our Most Scary segment is about.

It is a lot like Most Haunted, only we lie.

An Explanation of Most Scary

Let me just explain what our Most Scary segment is about.

It is a lot like Most Haunted, only we lie.

Most Scary, Figured it out

Leonnie has just figured out who I am talking about.

Most Scary, See if you can sense anything

Me left, Leonnie right.

Most Scary

While filming Most Scary. Me.

The Much Awaited Toe-Nail Story

This is Leonnie telling me about her toenail. It fell off. I think she said she was watching Most Haunted in her house and was playing with her toenail and it just came off! Leonnie left, Me right.

I like this

Me on the left, Leonnie on the right.

Run!

This is me and Leonnie running around the livingroom, in a circle and also spinning around while we were running..........I'd rather not explain why we did this.

Red Shirt

This is Leonnie in her red shirt, I like it. Leonnie decided to wear red and black for Halloween and I decided to wear all black, for Halloween, but also in honour of Derek Acorah's last Most Haunted Live.

Rosemary

All hail Rosemary, Tarot master! Ooh, she's getting something in her minds eye!

Leonnie goes home

Bye!

Friday

Here's what happened on Friday...

Leonnie came over and we didn't have anything to film so we played the playstation cos that's what we used to do all the time and Fredrick used to come in. Fortunately Fredrick wasn't there on Friday.

First we played Track and Field, that's the game we used to play the most. And everytime we play it it's obvious how it will go. Here's how it ends....

1st Place - Paul
2nd Place - Fredrick
3rd Place - Laura
4th Place - Leonnie

And that's how it goes each and every time. This time though as I said Fredrick wasn't there. So I had a chance to move up to 2nd place!

First to choose our names and countries. Paul chooses the name Bud and country Cuba. We later start calling him Booood. I choose the name Abe and country Russia. Leonnie chooses Fuz and country Canada. Later Paul calls her Fuuze (pronounce it something like "few zz" and say it in a high voice and you'll be saying something like what Leonnie was getting called).

We played 100m first. Bad move for me and Leonnie. Ofcourse Paul came first. I came 3rd. Leonnie 4th.

Then we played some other ones, Shot Put, Hammer, Triple Jump etc.

Then onto Swimming. Disaster and ofcourse Paul comes first again. Twenty seconds after Paul has finished Leonnie and I are still trying to get to the end. We let the guy finish himself.

Also we notice the guys are weird in it because Paul's guy was black and then he was white. It was all very weird.

We finish this game and here are the results...

1st Place - Paul
2nd Place - Computer
3rd Place - Laura
4th Place - Leonnie

Now when you finish this game the guys are on little podiums (don't know if that is how you spell it) BUT there are only 3 podiums, 1st 2nd and 3rd. So Paul's is on the top mines is on the lowest. And Leonnie's guy is lying down behind the podiums, punching the ground. Poor Leonnie.

Then we played Tennis. Me and Leonnie against Paul. Paul wins.

Then to the best bit of the day. Micro Machines! This was the high point of the day. Lots of Laughter. The thing about Micro Machines is the controls are a little weird, you press left you go left UNLESS you are going down screen then it's left means right. Paul and I can do this. But Leonnie had a little trouble with left and right and speed.

We play the first game and Leonnie goes FLYING off the screen at high speed! This is just the first second of the game. Paul and I continue until one of us gets a bonus then Leonnie's little car appears again. The beep goes, to indicate continue racing. Leonnie goes flying off the screen at high speed.

So we decide, alright, lets go slow so Leonnie can get used to the controls. We are going extremely slow and Leonnie starts going round in circles. We are all laughing our heads off! It's so hilarious. We play three more courses on Micro Machines. They all go the same way. Leonnie flies off the screen at high speed, Leonnie flies off the table honking the cars horn, Leonnie spins in circles.

We re-think this. Then we send Leonnie to Driving School. Now the driving school on this is very patronizing. The woman who tells you what to do is called Cherry but we thought she said Terry so we were calling her Terry. The first course is easiest it is just drive up screen. The hardest of these levels was driving around the cones, Leonnie had to have done this 30 times at least! Banging into cones driving too slowly or too fast not following the arrows, this Terry was never satisfied. I remember Leonnie did it perfectly and Terry said "You're not trying, I can tell"!!! Aaaaaagh! Leonnie kept shouting at Terry it was hilarious.

I think that's it, if I can think of anything else that happened I'll come back and blog it.

Here is a picture to indicate the playing of the playstation.

I apologise for bad picture quality, it is due to bad lighting in my house.
